Our History

Since November 24th, 2007

The roots of the KC Dallas Committee trace back to November 24th, 2007, when a group of Kalenjin community members in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area came together with a shared vision. Fueled by a desire to preserve and promote Kalenjin culture and values, they formalized their commitment by founding an organization dedicated to these principles.

 

Growth and Impact

Over the years, the KC Dallas Committee has grown in membership and influence within the Kalenjin community in the Dallas area. Through various social, cultural, and recreational programs, the committee has brought community members together, strengthened bonds, and raised awareness about Kalenjin culture. Additionally, the committee’s support during times of emergencies and its advocacy for member interests have solidified its role as a vital pillar within the community.
